It is a traditional spectacular social and cultural event that has been opening the summer tourist season in the Sunny Lakes since 1990. It takes place in mid-June in the south side of the Sunny Lakes. The area of the recreation centre is adapted for the organisation of mass cultural events.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

The event is not aimed at any particular age or interest group of the population, but has a wider societal dimension. It takes place in one of the most famous tourist centres in Slovakia, which, according to statistics, is visited by around one million tourists every year.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

The cultural and other programme of Seneck\u00e9 leto takes place on two stages. The main summer amphitheatre offers a wide range of entertainment genres for all age categories. The main stage alternates between singers, dance groups and other musical groups,various competitions and other forms of entertainment.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Attractions of various kinds make the area more enjoyable for visitors. The event climaxes with performances by well-known artists of pop music, a spectacular fireworks over the Sunny Lakes and a disco until the early morning hours.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

The average attendance of the event is around 20 000 people. The aim of the event, which is organised by the town of Senec, the municipal cultural centre and Senec Tourism Administration Office, is to promote the Sun Lakes and Senec as a centre of tourism.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>
